The Western Pennsylvania Veterans Academic Alliance, is a partnership of academic institutions across the Western Pennsylvania region. We are committed to enriching the military affiliated student experience, as they work towards achieving their educational goals.
This initiative is an opportunity for all 2-year & 4-year institutions to:
- Champion our strengths as individual institutions by sharing best practices
- Continue to shape student success through collaborative programming
- Build additional professional development opportunities for all institutional representatives
We aspire to make a difference in the Western Pennsylvania region, as we use our collective experience of providing academic support for the benefit to over 10,000 regional military affiliated students, as well as community and civic partners. We will innovate together, learn from each other, and support every member to continue the growth of student success within their institution.
