We welcome all Pitt military alumni and their families to participate in the Veterans Alumni Council (VAC) for the University of Pittsburgh.
The VAC is an alumni organization created to connect and support the growing number of Pitt military veteran alumni, lifelong and worldwide, through meaningful academic, professional, and social programs. It represents a joint partnership between the Pitt Alumni Association and the Office of Veterans Services.
The VAC serves as a gateway through which veteran alumni can access the vast resources of the University and maintain an established presence as a formal alumni entity.
Whether your interests including enhancing your personal and professional networks; reconnecting with old friends/classmates; learning of the latest developments of the current military-affiliated student body; or possibly giving back by supporting a worthy veteran student through a future scholarship endowment program, we are here to accommodate.
As we look to grow the council, we ask that our alumni continue to reach out to us with your thoughts, anticipated roles, and programming concepts.
